  Zoe is now 15 years old and has been in good hands with Dr MacDonald. We always feel confident of getting good care when we come in for dog food or an appointment. The staff is great!

  In Oct 2017 Our dog Sloan met a porcupine! Our usual vet was closed for the day. I called PetFocus Westwood hills veterinary hospital they could see him right away! Dr Alex Hare removed as many of the quills he could!

  We have been going to Westwood Hills for 6 years. The 3 of us enjoy going there. From regular check ups; to dealing with both physical and psychological issues; porcupine quills more than once; accidents; the aging process of both pets and owners, including future planning; and stressed out pet owners, this clinic and each staff member always go the extra mile. The care is excellent. I appreciate their holistic and practical approach. The staff are very patient, always lend a listening ear and always have good advice and a reassuring word. We always feel better after being there. A special shout out to the staff "out front", Vet Techs and Drs. Doucette and Hare as they are our regular Vets. With much appreciation and many thanks for all of the time spent with and for us; Misty, Timmy and I highly recommend this clinic. Debbie Thomas

  We have been with Westwood Hills Clinic since we moved to Haliburton Heights over six years ago. We have two cats and a dog who has diabetes and requires constant care. The members of staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about our animal needs, they are very considerate and go out of their way to accommodate us. I cannot say enough about our doctors - Dr MacDonald and Dr Hare, the latter has performed most of the operations on our dog, Patrick. They are extremely helpful, supportive and able to communicate effectively with us about our pets. Most importantly, we have total confidence in our doctors and their staff.
